Now !! OnePlus 11R Solar Red Review
Picking up the OnePlus 11R Solar Red is an experience. The vegan leather feels luxurious, offering a welcome grip compared to the slippery glass competitors. The stitching adds a touch of class, and the red itself? It’s not your average cherry red. It’s a deep, almost wine-like hue that shifts in the light, exuding an understated confidence. This phone demands to be seen, but not in a gaudy way. It’s more James Bond tuxedo than neon rave.
Performance
Under the hood, the 11R Solar Red is a powerhouse. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and 18GB of RAM make it a multitasking monster, effortlessly juggling demanding apps and games. I even tried editing some 4K videos on a whim, and it handled them surprisingly well. However, during intense gaming sessions, I did experience a few stutters – not dealbreakers, but noticeable nonetheless.
Cameras
The camera system is decent, but it won’t dethrone the likes of the Pixel 7 Pro. The 50MP main sensor takes good photos in daylight, with accurate colors and decent detail. However, low-light performance is mediocre, and the ultra-wide and macro sensors are forgettable. For casual users, the camera will suffice, but photography enthusiasts might look elsewhere.
Battery
The 5000mAh battery offers all-day stamina for most users. Even with moderate to heavy use, I never found myself scrambling for a charger. And when you do need to top up, the 100W fast charging is a godsend. It goes from zero to hero in a blink, eliminating battery anxiety altogether.
Other Features
While the phone has a lot to offer, there are a few notable omissions. Firstly, there’s no water resistance, which is a bummer considering the price point. Secondly, the lack of wireless charging might be a dealbreaker for some users. Finally, OxygenOS 13, while generally smooth, isn’t quite the bloatware-free experience it once was.
The OnePlus 11R Solar Red is a phone that turns heads. It’s powerful, stylish, and boasts insanely fast charging. However, the average camera and lack of water resistance might leave some users wanting more. Ultimately, this phone is for those who prioritize design and raw performance and are willing to sacrifice a few bells and whistles for a phone that truly stands out from the crowd. Just be sure you don’t plan on taking it swimming.
